The Freeport Yellowjackets baseball team (Freeport, PA), was overwhelmed 5-0 in Friday's non-league outing with the host Armstrong River Hawks (Kittanning, PA)

The River Hawks now hold a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Plum for a WPIAL 5A 2 outing on Monday, March 27. Armstrong will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 6-4 non-league loss to Pine-Richland (Gibsonia, PA). The Mustangs record now stands at 2-2.

Next, the Yellowjackets face the Deer Lakes Lancers (Russellton, PA) in a WPIAL 3A 3 bout, on Monday, April 3. Freeport will attempt to move on its 2-1 season record.
