La Cueva Bears (Albuquerque, NM) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the host Columbine Rebels (Littleton, CO), 7-6 in a non-league test.

With the win, La Cueva upgrades its record to 10-2 on the season. The Bears travel to Higley (Gilbert, AZ) to battle the Knights in a non-league test on Saturday, March 25. The Knights come into the test with a record of 4-9. Higley lost 9-0 in their recent non-league test against Horizon (Scottsdale, AZ)

With the defeat, Columbine falls to 1-4 on the season. The Rebels travel to Pocatello (Pocatello, ID) to battle the Thunder in a non-league test on Saturday, March 25. The Thunder come into the test with a record of 3-2. Pocatello lost 5-4 in their recent non-league test against Bishop Manogue (Reno, NV)
