The Navarro Panthers crushed the host Karnes City Badgers baseball team by a tally of 13-1 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Panthers now hold a 13-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Gonzales for a 4A Region IV District 28 bout on Tuesday, March 28.
Next, the Badgers face the Jourdanton Indians/Squaws (Jourdanton, TX) in a 3A Region IV District 27 bout, on Tuesday, March 28. Karnes City will attempt to advance on its 2-3 season record. The Indians/Squaws enter the bout with a 5-9 record after their 4-3 league loss to Poth (Poth, TX).
