California High School Baseball - Whitney gets by Oakmont

March 24, 2023: Roseville, CA 95661

Whitney Wildcats (Rocklin, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Oakmont Vikings (Roseville, CA), 5-2 in a non-league test.

With the win, Whitney upgrades its record to 7-1 on the season. The Wildcats host Granite Bay (Granite Bay, CA) to battle the Grizzlies in a Sierra Foothill League test on Monday, March 27. The Grizzlies come into the test with a record of 3-3. Granite Bay lost 7-1 in their recent non-league test against De La Salle (Concord, CA)

With the defeat, Oakmont falls to 5-3 on the season. The Vikings travel to Woodcreek (Roseville, CA) to battle the Timberwolves in a non-league test on Saturday, March 25. The Timberwolves come into the test with a record of 2-3. Woodcreek won 7-4 in their recent league test against Inderkum (Sacramento, CA)
