The Vestavia Hills Rebels got by the visiting Oxford Yellow Jackets baseball team by a count of 2-1 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Rebels now possess a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Leeds for a non-league bout on Saturday, March 25. Vestavia Hills will face a Greenwave team coming off a 4-3 non-league loss to Springville (Springville, AL). The Greenwave record now stands at 10-10.
Next, the Yellow Jackets face the Jemison Panthers (Jemison, AL) in a non-league bout, on Monday, March 27. Oxford will attempt to move on its 13-4 season record. The Panthers enter the bout with a 5-8 record after their 15-1 non-league win over Comer (Sylacauga, AL).
