Spectators at Friday's non-league battle between the Rio Rancho Rams (Rio Rancho, NM) and the visiting Valley Vikings (Albuquerque, NM), saw Rio Rancho's baseball squad knock off Valley by a count of 12-2.

Coming up next, the Rams play the Carlsbad Cavemen (Carlsbad, NM) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, March 25. Rio Rancho will attempt to move on its 12-1 season record. The Cavemen enter the battle with a 13-2 record after their 5-4 non-league win over Sandia (Albuquerque, NM).
