The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Mid-Pacific Institute Owls (Honolulu, HI) and the visiting Palos Verdes Sea Kings (Palos Verdes Estates, CA), saw Mid-Pacific Institute's volleyball squad beat Palos Verdes by a tally of 2-0.
With the win, Mid-Pacific Institute upgrades its record to 1-0 on the year.
The Sea Kings now own a 5-7 record. They play next when they host Redondo Union for a Bay bout on Friday, March 24. Palos Verdes will play a Sea Hawks squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Culver City (Culver City, CA). The Sea Hawks record now stands at 13-6.
