Northgate Vikings (Newnan, GA) boosters exited the stadium content Friday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the visiting Southwest DeKalb Panthers (Decatur, GA), 23-1 in a non-league battle.
The Vikings now own a 9-3 record. They take the field next when they host Ola for a 5A-6A Area 8 battle on Tuesday, March 28. Northgate will clash with a Mustangs squad coming off a 9-8 non-league loss to Oconee County (Watkinsville, GA). The Mustangs record now stands at 6-6.
In their next game, the Panthers clash with the Lakeside Vikings (Atlanta, GA) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, March 28. Southwest DeKalb will attempt to advance on its 0-4 season record. The Vikings come into the battle with a 6-6 record after their 17-10 league loss to Marist (Atlanta, GA).
