Gilmer Bobcats (Ellijay, GA) fans were thrilled Friday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host Pickens Dragons (Jasper, GA), 3-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Bobcats confront the Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe Warriors (Fort Oglethorpe, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, March 30. Gilmer will attempt to better on its 4-5 season record.

The Dragons now have a 1-7 record. They take the field next when they host Chestatee for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 28. Pickens will confront a War Eagles team coming off a 5-0 non-league loss to Flowery Branch (Flowery Branch, GA). The War Eagles record now stands at 2-14.
