In Friday's non-league battle, the visiting Lovett Lions soccer squad scored a close 6-1 triumph over the Greater Atlanta Christian Spartans.
The Lions (9-5) will now prepare for their battle against Stockbridge (Stockbridge, GA). The Tigers come into the 4A Region 5 battle with a 1-10 record. In their last battle, Stockbridge was overwhelmed by Providence Christian Academy (Lilburn, GA), 4-0, in a non-league battle.
The Spartans (6-4) will now prepare for their battle against North Springs (Atlanta, GA). The Spartans come into the 5A Region 6 battle with a 1-12 record. In their last battle, North Springs was overwhelmed by Northview (Johns Creek, GA), 4-1, in a league battle.
