Meridian Mustangs (Falls Church, VA) boosters exited the stadium content Friday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad nip the host Brentsville District Tigers (Nokesville, VA), 7-6 in a league battle.
The Mustangs now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Trinity at Meadow View for a non-league battle on Thursday, March 30.
In their next game, the Tigers clash with the James Monroe Yellow Jackets (Fredericksburg, VA) in a non-league battle, on Monday, March 27. Brentsville District will attempt to advance on its 3-1 season record. The Yellow Jackets come into the battle with a 0-1 record after their 13-11 non-league loss to Orange County (Orange, VA).
