The crowd at Friday's non-league test between the Putnam City Pirates (Oklahoma City, OK) and the host Guthrie Bluejays (Guthrie, OK), saw Putnam City's soccer squad beat Guthrie by a margin of 4-0.
The Pirates now sport a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Edmond North for a non-league test on Monday, March 27. Putnam City will encounter a Huskies squad coming off a 7-2 non-league loss to Edmond Memorial (Edmond, OK). The Huskies record now stands at 0-1.
With the loss, Guthrie drops to 6-3 on the season. The Bluejays host Southeast (Oklahoma City, OK) to encounter the Spartans in a 5A District 2 test on Friday, March 31. The Spartans come into the test with a record of 1-0.
