California High School Softball - Churchill County bounces South Tahoe

March 24, 2023: South Lake Tahoe, CA 96150

The Churchill County Greenwave (Fallon, NV) softball routed the host South Tahoe Vikings (South Lake Tahoe, CA), 21-4 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Greenwave (4-1) will now prepare for their bout against Truckee (Truckee, CA). The Wolverines go into the 3A North - West bout with a 0-3 record. In their last bout, Truckee was routed by Spring Creek (Spring Creek, NV), 20-0, in a league bout.

The Vikings now possess a 0-3 record. They play next when they travel to Wooster for a 3A North - West bout on Friday, March 31. South Tahoe will confront a Colts squad coming off a 23-10 non-league loss to Elko (Elko, NV). The Colts record now stands at 0-6.
