Hazen Highlanders (Renton, WA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Renton Red Hawks (Renton, WA), 20-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Highlanders now own a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Juanita for a 3A KingCo challenge on Monday, March 27. Hazen will face a Ravens squad coming off a 10-2 non-league win over Kingston (Kingston, WA). The Ravens record now stands at 4-3.

With the loss, Renton falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Red hawks travel to Lindbergh (Renton, WA) to face the Eagles in a 2A KingCo challenge on Monday, March 27. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
