South Stanly Rowdy Rebel Bulls (Norwood, NC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host North Stanly Comets (New London, NC), 4-0 in a league challenge.

The Rowdy Rebel Bulls now own a 7-1 record. They take the field next when they host Union Academy for a Yadkin Valley 1A/2A challenge on Tuesday, March 28. South Stanly will face a Cardinals squad coming off a 12-0 non-league win over Covenant Day (Matthews, NC). The Cardinals record now stands at 10-0.

With the loss, North Stanly falls to 5-6 on the campaign. The Comets travel to Salisbury (Salisbury, NC) to face the Hornets in a non-league challenge on Monday, March 27. The Hornets enter the challenge with a record of 4-4. Salisbury won 3-1 in their recent league challenge against East Davidson (Thomasville, NC)
