With the triumph, Tanque Verde moves its record to 7-4 on the year. The Hawks host Safford (Safford, AZ) to clash with the Bulldogs in a 3A South game on Monday, March 27. The Bulldogs come into the game with a record of 9-6. Safford won 12-9 in their recent league game against Thatcher (Thatcher, AZ)

In their next game, the Vipers clash with the Desert Christian Eagles (Tucson, AZ) in a non-league game, on Saturday, March 25. San Miguel will attempt to move on its 1-4 season record. The Eagles come into the game with a 3-5 record after their 25-9 league win over Baboquivari (Sells, AZ).
