Illinois High School Baseball - West Carroll loses to Ashton-Franklin Center

In Monday's non-league bout, the Ashton-Franklin Center Raiders (Ashton, IL) baseball squad overwhelmed the host West Carroll Thunder (Savanna, IL), by a tally of 17-0.

Next up, the Raiders encounter the Alden-Hebron Green Giants (Hebron, IL) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, March 26. Ashton-Franklin Center will attempt to upgrade on its 3-1 season record. The Green Giants enter the bout with a 0-2 record after their 19-1 non-league loss to Johnsburg (Johnsburg, IL).

The Thunder (1-1) will now prepare for their bout against Newman Central Catholic (Sterling, IL). The Comets enter the non-league bout with a 3-1 record. In their last bout, Newman Central Catholic overcame Annawan-Wethersfield (Kewanee, IL), 8-7, in a non-league bout.
