In Monday's non-league game, the host Beekman Charter Tigers baseball team scored a nice 13-1 victory over the Summerfield Rebels.
The Tigers (5-12) will now prepare for their game against Oak Grove (Oak Grove, LA). The Tigers enter the 2A District 2 game with a 10-8 record. In their last game, Oak Grove defeated Neville (Monroe, LA), 11-0, in a non-league game.
Next, the Rebels face the Dodson Panthers (Dodson, LA) in a non-league game, on Thursday, March 27. Summerfield will attempt to improve on its 0-12 season record. The Panthers enter the game with a 4-6 record after their 15-7 non-league win over Jonesboro-Hodge (Jonesboro, LA).
