In Monday's non-league game, the host Upper Lake Cougars baseball team scored a close 10-4 victory over the Calistoga Wildcats.
The Cougars (4-2) will now prepare for their game against Maxwell (Maxwell, CA). The Panthers enter the non-league game with a 5-0 record. In their last game, Maxwell held off Durham (Durham, CA), 3-0, in a non-league game.
Next, the Wildcats face the Victory Christian Academy Eagles (Santa Rosa, CA) in a North Central III game, on Tuesday, March 25. Calistoga will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record. The Eagles enter the game with a 0-4 record after their 6-4 non-league loss to Tomales (Tomales, CA).
