In Monday's non-league game, the host Teutopolis Wooden Shoes baseball team scored a nice 10-2 victory over the Cumberland Pirates.
The Wooden Shoes (3-1) will now prepare for their game against Greenville (Greenville, IL). The Comets enter the non-league game with a 3-0 record. In their last game, Greenville defeated Pana (Pana, IL), 15-5, in a non-league game.
Next, the Pirates face the Richland County Tigers (Olney, IL) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, March 26. Cumberland will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record. The Tigers enter the game with a 1-1 record after their 14-3 non-league loss to St. Anthony (Effingham, IL).
