The Dobyns-Bennett Indians (Kingsport, TN) baseball trounced the host Philip Simmons Iron Horses (Charleston, SC), 18-11 in Monday's non-league challenge.

The Indians now own a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hanahan for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 26. Dobyns-Bennett will clash with a Hawks team coming off a 10-1 league win over Orangeburg-Wilkinson (Orangeburg, SC). The Hawks record now stands at 4-4.

With the defeat, Philip Simmons drops to 4-6 on the year. The Iron horses travel to Academic Magnet (North Charleston, SC) to clash with the Raptors in a 2A Region 6 challenge on Tuesday, March 25. The Raptors go into the challenge with a record of 3-3. Academic Magnet won 10-2 in their recent non-league challenge against First Baptist School (Charleston, SC)
