The Glendale Cardinals baseball team scored 25 runs and held the host Tempe Buffaloes to 2 in the Cardinals non-league win on Monday.

The Cardinals now own a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Washington for a 5A Central Valley test on Tuesday, March 25. Glendale will clash with a Rams team coming off a 4-1 non-league loss to Moon Valley (Phoenix, AZ). The Rams record now stands at 2-2.

With the defeat, Tempe drops to 0-4 on the year. The Buffaloes host Dysart (El Mirage, AZ) to clash with the Demons in a 4A Black Canyon test on Tuesday, March 25. The Demons go into the test with a record of 2-5. Dysart lost 13-3 in their recent non-league test against Combs (San Tan Valley, AZ)
