California High School Baseball - Helix loses to St. Augustine

March 24, 2025: La Mesa, CA 91941

St. Augustine Saints (San Diego, CA) fans left the game pleased Monday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the host Helix Highlanders (La Mesa, CA), 9-1 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, St. Augustine advances its record to 4-4 on the season. The Saints host Eastlake (Chula Vista, CA) to battle the Titans in a non-league match on Wednesday, March 26. The Titans come into the match with a record of 5-2. Eastlake won 2-0 in their recent non-league match against Patrick Henry (San Diego, CA)

The Highlanders now have a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Coronado for a non-league match on Wednesday, March 26. Helix will battle a Islanders squad coming off a 4-2 non-league win over Bonita Vista (Chula Vista, CA). The Islanders record now stands at 6-3.
