Virginia High School Baseball - Manchester holds off Thomas Dale

The Manchester Lancers baseball team scored 5 runs and held the visiting Thomas Dale Knights to 1 in the Lancers non-league win on Monday.

The Lancers now own a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to L.C. Bird for a Dominion test on Tuesday, March 25. Manchester will play a Skyhawks team coming off a 16-0 non-league win over Thomas Jefferson (Richmond, VA). The Skyhawks record now stands at 1-1.

With the defeat, Thomas Dale drops to 1-1 on the year. The Knights travel to Cosby (Midlothian, VA) to play the Titans in a non-league test on Thursday, March 27. The Titans go into the test with a record of 1-0. Cosby 0-0 in their recent league test against Monacan (Richmond, VA)
