The crowd at Monday's non-league battle between the Palmetto Mustangs (Williamston, SC) and the visiting Pickens Blue Flame (Pickens, SC), saw Palmetto's baseball team gain a win over Pickens by a tally of 12-2.

The Mustangs (1-7) will now prepare for their battle against Belton-Honea Path (Honea Path, SC). The Bears enter the non-league battle with a 3-6 record. In their last battle, Belton-Honea Path was overwhelmed by Pendleton (Pendleton, SC), 3-2, in a league battle.

Next, the Blue Flame face the Berea Bulldogs (Greenville, SC) in a 4A Region 2 battle, on Tuesday, March 25. Pickens will attempt to upgrade on its 2-9 season record. The Bulldogs enter the battle with a 2-4 record after their 15-0 league loss to Greer (Greer, SC).
