The Sasakwa Vikings baseball team scored 13 runs and held the host Springer Cardinals to 5 in the Vikings non-league win on Monday.
The Vikings now own a 7-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Strother for a Little River test on Tuesday, March 25. Sasakwa will play a Yellowjackets team coming off a 8-0 non-league loss to Asher (Asher, OK). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 2-8.
With the defeat, Springer drops to 0-2 on the year. The Cardinals host Thackerville (Thackerville, OK) to play the Wildcats in a non-league test on Thursday, March 27. The Wildcats go into the test with a record of 0-5. Thackerville lost 5-4 in their recent non-league test against Temple (Temple, OK)
