The Chaparral Firebirds (Scottsdale, AZ) baseball trounced the visiting Centennial Coyotes (Peoria, AZ), 16-0 in Monday's non-league challenge.

The Firebirds now own a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Arizona College Prep for a challenge on Tuesday, April 1.

With the defeat, Centennial drops to 2-2 on the year. The Coyotes host Lake Havasu (Lake Havasu City, AZ) to clash with the Knights in a challenge on Tuesday, March 25. The Knights go into the challenge with a record of 4-1. Lake Havasu won 14-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Lee Williams (Kingman, AZ)
