The Apex Friendship Patriots lacrosse squad scored 14 points and limited the host Broughton Capitals to 7 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Monday.

The Patriots now hold a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Panther Creek for a Southwest Wake challenge on Tuesday, March 25. Apex Friendship will clash with a Catamounts squad coming off a 18-6 league loss to Green Hope (Cary, NC). The Catamounts record now stands at 1-5.

With the loss, Broughton falls to 5-4 on the year. The Capitals travel to Leesville Road (Raleigh, NC) to clash with the Pride in a CAP 6 challenge on Tuesday, April 8. The Pride go into the challenge with a record of 2-4. Leesville Road won 12-10 in their recent non-league challenge against Wake Forest (Wake Forest, NC)
