The Athenian Owls lacrosse squad scored 6 points and limited the visiting St. Vincent de Paul Mustangs to 5 in the Owls non-league triumph on Monday.

The Owls now own a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they host The Bay School for a non-league outing on Tuesday, March 25. Athenian will face a Breakers squad coming off a 8-0 league win over International (San Francisco, CA). The Breakers record now stands at 5-1.

With the loss, St. Vincent de Paul falls to 2-1 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Cardinal Newman (Santa Rosa, CA) to face the Cardinals in a Vine Valley outing on Thursday, March 27. The Cardinals go into the outing with a record of 1-2. Cardinal Newman won 21-13 in their recent league outing against Vintage (Napa, CA)
