In Monday's league match, the South Mecklenburg Sabres (Charlotte, NC) lacrosse team overwhelmed the visiting Independence Patriots (Charlotte, NC), by a count of 13-2.

Next up, the Sabres confront the Lincoln Charter Eagles (Denver, NC) in a non-league match, on Friday, March 28. South Mecklenburg will attempt to move on its 6-1 season record. The Eagles enter the match with a 0-4 record after their 12-6 league loss to South Iredell (Statesville, NC).
