The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Hoover Vikings (North Canton, OH) and the visiting Boardman Spartans (Youngstown, OH), observed Hoover's softball team prevail over Boardman by a tally of 11-1.

The Vikings (1-0) will now prepare for their bout against Perry (Massillon, OH). The Panthers go into the non-league bout with a 0-1 record.

In their next game, the Spartans battle the Louisville Leopards (Louisville, OH) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, March 25. Boardman will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record. The Leopards go into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 24-5 non-league loss to Tuslaw (Massillon, OH).
