In Monday's non-league match, the host Amboy Clippers softball team scored a nice 15-5 win over the Pecatonica Indians.

The Clippers (1-2) will now prepare for their match against Marquette (Ottawa, IL). The Crusaders come into the non-league match with a 6-1 record. In their last match, Marquette notched a victory over Serena (Serena, IL), 13-3, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Indians battle the Stockton Blackhawks (Stockton, IL) in a non-league match, on Wednesday, March 26. Pecatonica will attempt to better on its 1-2 season record. The Blackhawks come into the match with a 0-1 record after their 14-7 non-league loss to Pearl City (Pearl City, IL).
