Anna-Jonesboro Wildcats (Anna, IL) supporters left the game pleased Monday as they saw their softball squad thwart the host Meridian Bobcats (Mounds, IL), 22-0 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Anna-Jonesboro improves its record to 5-0 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Vienna (Vienna, IL) to play the Eagles in a non-league game on Tuesday, March 25. The Eagles enter the game with a record of 1-4. Vienna lost 17-6 in their recent non-league game against Harrisburg (Harrisburg, IL)

The Bobcats now hold a 0-4 record. They play next when they travel to Shawnee for a non-league game on Tuesday, March 25. Meridian will play a Redskins squad coming off a 12-2 non-league loss to Chester (Chester, IL). The Redskins record now stands at 1-2.
