California High School Softball - Santa Margarita sneaks past Centennial

The Santa Margarita Eagles (Rancho Santa Margarita, CA) softball nipped the host Centennial Huskies (Corona, CA), 2-1 in Monday's non-league outing.

The Eagles now sport a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mater Dei for a Trinity outing on Friday, March 28. Santa Margarita will encounter a Monarchs team coming off a 5-0 league win over JSerra Catholic (San Juan Capistrano, CA). The Monarchs record now stands at 9-8.

With the loss, Centennial moves to 7-4 on the season. The Huskies host Yucaipa (Yucaipa, CA) to encounter the Thunderbirds in a non-league outing on Wednesday, March 26.
