Stewart County Rebels (Dover, TN) supporters left the game pleased Monday as they saw their softball squad nudge the host Clarksville Academy Cougars (Clarksville, TN), 9-3 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Stewart County improves its record to 6-2 on the year. The Rebels travel to Murray (Murray, KY) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league bout on Wednesday, March 26. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 0-6. Murray lost 16-0 in their recent non-league bout against Crittenden County (Marion, KY)

In their next game, the Cougars clash with the Ezell-Harding Christian Eagles (Antioch, TN) in a D II-A Middle 4 bout, on Tuesday, March 25. Clarksville Academy will attempt to advance on its 0-3 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 1-6 record after their 14-4 league loss to Nashville Christian (Nashville, TN).
