The Covenant Day Lions softball team scored 13 runs and held the visiting Hickory Grove Christian Lions to 0 in the Lions non-league win on Monday.

The Lions now sport a 10-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ambassador Christian School for a non-league battle on Thursday, March 27. Covenant Day will encounter a Lions team coming off a 20-9 non-league loss to Piedmont Community Charter (Gastonia, NC). The Lions record now stands at 0-6.

With the loss, Hickory Grove Christian moves to 5-6 on the season. The Lions travel to Monroe (Monroe, NC) to encounter the Redhawks in a non-league battle on Tuesday, March 25. The Redhawks come into the battle with a record of 1-9. Monroe lost 16-1 in their recent non-league battle against Queen's Grant (Matthews, NC)
