The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Stevenson Pirates (Pebble Beach, CA) and the host Gonzales Spartans (Gonzales, CA), observed Stevenson's softball team get by Gonzales by a tally of 16-11.

The Pirates (2-1) will now prepare for their bout against King City (King City, CA). The Mustangs go into the PCAL - Mission bout with a 3-4 record. In their last bout, King City was routed by Carmel (Carmel, CA), 19-15, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Spartans clash with the St. Francis Sharks (Watsonville, CA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, April 2. Gonzales will attempt to advance on its 0-3 season record. The Sharks go into the bout with a 0-2 record after their 26-9 non-league loss to Pajaro Valley (Watsonville, CA).
