The Henderson County Colonels softball team scored 8 runs and held the visiting Madisonville-North Hopkins Maroons to 0 in the Colonels non-league win on Monday.

The Colonels now sport a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Muhlenberg County for a non-league battle on Tuesday, March 25. Henderson County will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 12-1 non-league loss to Trinity (Whitesville, KY). The Mustangs record now stands at 1-2.

With the loss, Madisonville-North Hopkins moves to 0-4 on the season. The Maroons travel to Hopkins County Central (Madisonville, KY) to confront the Storm in a District 7 battle on Tuesday, March 25. The Storm come into the battle with a record of 0-5. Hopkins County Central lost 11-4 in their recent non-league battle against Owensboro (Owensboro, KY)
