The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Junction City Tigers (Junction City, OR) and the host Newport Cubs (Newport, OR), observed Junction City's softball team prevail over Newport by a tally of 13-2.

The Tigers (1-0) will now prepare for their bout against Nyssa (Nyssa, OR). The Bulldogs go into the non-league bout with a 1-1 record. In their last bout, Nyssa knocked off Marsing (Marsing, ID), 5-0, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Cubs clash with the Pendleton Buckaroos (Pendleton, OR) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, March 25. Newport will attempt to advance on its 0-3 season record.
