California High School Softball - Laguna Creek bested by Vista del Lago

The Vista del Lago Eagles triumphed over the host Laguna Creek Cardinals softball squad by a count of 14-4 in Monday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Eagles meet the Ponderosa Bruins (Shingle Springs, CA) in a Capital Valley Conference challenge, on Wednesday, March 26. Vista del Lago will attempt to upgrade on its 3-6 season record. The Bruins enter the challenge with a 5-6 record after their 18-0 league win over Rio Americano (Sacramento, CA).

The Cardinals (5-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Cosumnes Oaks (Elk Grove, CA). The Wolfpack enter the Delta League challenge with a 2-1 record.
