In Monday's non-league match, the visiting Madison Central Indians softball team scored a tight 5-1 victory over the Pulaski County Maroons.
The Indians (4-1) will now prepare for their match against Tates Creek (Lexington, KY). The Commodores go into the non-league match with a 1-5 record. In their last match, Tates Creek was routed by Male (Louisville, KY), 15-0, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Maroons battle the Clinton County Bulldogs (Albany, KY) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, March 25. Pulaski County will attempt to better on its 2-4 season record. The Bulldogs go into the match with a 2-2 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to North Laurel (London, KY).
