In Tuesday's non-league test, the Bishop Diego Cardinals (Santa Barbara, CA) softball squad the host Trinity Classical Academy Knights (Valencia, CA), by a margin of 30-27.
The Cardinals now sport a 1-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Coastal Christian for a non-league outing on Thursday, March 26. Bishop Diego will encounter a Conquerors team coming off a 10-0 non-league loss to Mission College Prep (San Luis Obispo, CA). The Conquerors record now stands at 4-5.
With the loss, Trinity Classical Academy moves to 1-4 on the season. The Knights travel to Faith Baptist (Canoga Park, CA) to encounter the Contenders in a Heritage outing on Tuesday, April 7. The Contenders come into the outing with a record of 2-3.
