Ohio High School Softball - Perkins bounces Brookside

The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Perkins Pirates (Sandusky, OH) and the host Brookside Cardinals (Sheffield, OH), saw Perkins's softball squad topple Brookside by a score of 18-4.

With the triumph, Perkins improves its record to 3-0 on the year. The Pirates host Maumee (Maumee, OH) to face the Panthers in a non-league contest on Thursday, March 26. The Panthers enter the contest with a record of 1-1. Maumee won 11-1 in their recent non-league contest against Clay (Oregon, OH)

The Cardinals now hold a 0-2 record. They play next when they host Cloverleaf for a non-league contest on Thursday, March 26. Brookside will face a Colts squad coming off a 12-2 non-league win over North Olmsted (North Olmsted, OH). The Colts record now stands at 3-0.
