Elbert County Blue Devils (Elberton, GA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Briarwood Academy Buccaneers (Warrenton, GA), 12-2 in a non-league test.

With the win, Elbert County upgrades its record to 13-3 on the season. The Blue Devils travel to Rabun County (Tiger, GA) to battle the Wildcats in a AA Region 8 test on Tuesday, March 29. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 4-8. Rabun County won 17-1 in their recent league test against Riverside Military Academy (Gainesville, GA)

With the defeat, Briarwood Academy falls to 2-6 on the season. The Buccaneers host Georgia Military College (Milledgeville, GA) to battle the Bulldogs in a non-league test on Saturday, March 26. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 6-7. Georgia Military College won 3-2 in their recent non-league test against Windsor Academy (Macon, GA)
