Pennsylvania High School Baseball - Halifax nips Williams Valley

March 25, 2022: Tower City, PA 17980

Halifax Wildcats (Halifax, PA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the host Williams Valley Vikings (Tower City, PA), 2-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Halifax upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Wildcats host Newport (Newport, PA) to battle the Buffaloes in a Tri-Valley test on Monday, March 28. The Buffaloes come into the test with a record of 1-1. Newport won 12-2 in their recent non-league test against Greenwood (Millerstown, PA)

With the defeat, Williams Valley falls to 0-1 on the season. The Vikings travel to Upper Dauphin Area (Elizabethville, PA) to battle the Trojans in a non-league test on Saturday, March 26. The Trojans come into the test with a record of 0-0.
