In Friday's non-league contest, the Ardrey Kell Knights (Charlotte, NC) lacrosse squad edged the visiting Northwest Guilford Vikings (Greensboro, NC), by a count of 8-7.

Coming up next, the Knights confront the Marvin Ridge Mavericks (Waxhaw, NC) in a non-league contest, on Monday, March 28. Ardrey Kell will attempt to advance on its 4-4 season record. The Mavericks come into the contest with a 6-3 record after their 17-5 league loss to Weddington (Matthews, NC).

The Vikings now own a 5-4 record. They take the field next when they host Southwest Guilford for a Metro contest on Tuesday, March 29. Northwest Guilford will confront a Cowboys squad coming off a 26-0 league win over Ragsdale (Jamestown, NC). The Cowboys record now stands at 7-3.
