The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Palm Harbor University Hurricanes (Palm Harbor, FL) and the visiting Boca Ciega Pirates (Gulfport, FL), saw Palm Harbor University's lacrosse team top Boca Ciega by a margin of 15-4.
The Hurricanes (6-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Lakewood Ranch (Bradenton, FL). The Mustangs enter the 2A D11 challenge with a 6-4 record. In their last challenge, Lakewood Ranch beat Out-of-Door Academy (Sarasota, FL), 15-4, in a non-league challenge.
The Pirates (1-4) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Petersburg (St. Petersburg, FL). The Green Devils enter the non-league challenge with a 3-6 record. In their last challenge, St. Petersburg beat St. Petersburg Catholic (St. Petersburg, FL), 10-9, in a non-league challenge.
