In Friday's league test, the host Woodberry Forest Tigers lacrosse squad scored a tight 10-8 victory over the St. Andrew's Episcopal Lions.
The Tigers now have a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they host Hoggard for a non-league test on Tuesday, March 29. Woodberry Forest will face a Vikings squad coming off a 14-4 non-league win over Cape Fear Academy (Wilmington, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 7-0.
In their next game, the Lions face the Ashley Screaming Eagle (Wilmington, NC) in a Mideastern test, on Wednesday, March 30. St. Andrew's Episcopal will attempt to move on its 2-4 season record. The Screaming Eagle come into the test with a 7-0 record after their 20-12 league win over Laney (Wilmington, NC).
