St. Pius X Catholic Golden Lions (Atlanta, GA) fans were pleased Friday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host Chamblee Bulldogs (Chamblee, GA), 4-2 in a league challenge.

Next, the Golden Lions confront the Stone Mountain Pirates (Stone Mountain, GA) in a AAAAA Region 5 challenge, on Tuesday, March 29. St. Pius X Catholic will attempt to better on its 9-2 season record. The Pirates enter the challenge with a 2-8 record after their 4-3 league win over Lithonia (Lithonia, GA).

The Bulldogs now have a 5-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Midtown for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 29. Chamblee will confront a Knights team coming off a 7-1 league loss to Lithia Springs (Lithia Springs, GA). The Knights record now stands at 6-9.
