The Cherokee Bluff Bears smashed the visiting Lumpkin County Indians soccer squad by a margin of 5-0 in Friday's league match.
The Bears now sport a 4-12 record. They play next when they travel to White County for a AAA Region 7 match on Tuesday, March 29. Cherokee Bluff will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 10-2 league loss to West Hall (Oakwood, GA). The Warriors record now stands at 1-11.
With the loss, Lumpkin County drops to 2-14 on the season. The Indians host Gilmer (Ellijay, GA) to encounter the Bobcats in a AAA Region 7 match on Tuesday, March 29. The Bobcats come into the match with a record of 8-4. Gilmer won 5-0 in their recent league match against North Hall (Gainesville, GA)
